Bob's Vintage Computers - Tandy / Radio Shack

All items are available on a cash or PayPal basis (Friends & Family please!) and I'm open to offers, particularly if buying multiples. No shipping on systems or monitors, local pickup only in Wyndmoor, PA. Shipping available for smaller items. Due to age, all items are strictly "as is".

NOTE: Many of the peripherals listed under Model 1 can also be used with other Tandy TRS-80 systems - they are just lumped together there for convenience.

BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Model I (26-01006-G) YEAR: 1977
ASKING: $300 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Excellent condition, low serial number (002801), 4K Level II upgraded to 16K, virtually no paint wear, works great! There's a bit of tape residue on the expansion port cover - some came off but I didn't want to risk damaging the paint. This is one of the nicest Model I computers I've seen - I would definitely consider this museum quality. Power supply included, display available separately.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Model I (26-1006D) with Numeric Keypad YEAR: 1977
ASKING: $200 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: Good condition, serial number (024588), 16K Level II, some scratching but paint generally good, works great, enter keys are slightly yellowed, some paint/tape residue. One of the bottom ventilation fins has broken off, but I have the fin and it may be reattached if desired. No display or power supply is included.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Model I Video Display (26-1201) YEAR: 1977
ASKING: $100 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Excellent condition with original booklet. Some sticker residue on the back under the handle, and the serial number sticker has been partially removed. Contrast control works but could use some cleaning, brightness works well!
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Model I Expansion Interface (26-1141-1) YEAR: 1977
ASKING: $200 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Works great and in nice condition with all covers, power supply (inside), and buffered cable. Serial number: 020770.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: PTC-64 Printer Controller (26-1269) YEAR: 1984?
ASKING: $50 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: Looks to be in nice condition, label on rear of unit is starting to peel. Untested, but lights up when power supply is connected. Just found the manual and added a photo! Includes power supply, computer cable, operation manual, and printer cable. Serial number: 021351.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: TRS-80 Mini Disk #1 (26-1164) YEAR: 1977
ASKING: $50 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Unable to test - seems to function and looks great, but has a weird Franken-supply on the back! It appears the previous owner replaced the internal supply with this one. Hard to tell from the photos, but this one is in Tandy battleship gray. Serial: 308824-1.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: TRS-80 Mini Disk #2 (26-1164A) YEAR: 1977
ASKING: $75 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Unable to test, but seems to function and looks great! Hard to tell from the photos, but this case is the putty color that matches the Model 4. Low serial (004024) - includes data cable.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: TRS-80 DMP-200 Dot Matrix Printer (26-1254) YEAR: 1980?
ASKING: $150 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: Unable to test well, but seems to function and looks great! Includes Tandy vinyl cover, parallel ribbon cable, and operation manual. One of the clips is missing from the parallel connector, and the clear part of the plastic cover has been repaired. Also, clips from the smaller black upper cover have broken off, but are included for a future repair. I don't have tractor feed paper to test, but I'm sure the ribbon is dried out after 40 years! Powers on, power feed advances, self-test moves and operates the print head, all foam intact.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Realistic Cassette CTR-80A (26-1206) YEAR: 1977

BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Model 4 NGA 128K 5.9MHz Z80-B + (26-1067) YEAR: 1983?
ASKING: $500 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: Upgraded with 5.9 MHz Z80-B, 16K medallion but 128KB RAM installed, 2 half-height 40-track DS/DD drives, plus an original Tandy vinyl cover. Runs great, both floppies working, display nice and bright. There's a ribbon cable running through the bottom of the case to the drive bays for additional floppies, but not connected. Easy to remove, but I'll leave it in place - I'll also leave the original owner's stickers in place. Includes a Tandy vinyl cover and a vintage screen diffuser (not attached, but double-sided tape is still unused on 3 sides.) I did only a minimal cleaning, it could certainly use a bit more but pretty clean overall. There may be more upgrades installed (perhaps enhanced graphics?), but I didn't want to disassemble any further to find out.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Tandy Fifteen Meg Disk System (26-4155) YEAR: 1980?
ASKING: $200 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Unable to test, but turns on, "protect" light works, fan works (and is remarkably quiet!), and the drive spins up however I dont have a data cable to test further. Power cable and working key included.
BRAND: ? MODEL: Home-brew hard drive (10 Meg?) YEAR: ?
ASKING: $100 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Unable to test, but turns on, fan works (and is also remarkably quiet!), and the drive spins up. I didn't want to disassemble further to see brand or size of the hard drive, but I suspect this may be 10MB only due to one hand-labeled disk that says it's for 10MByte hard disk.
BRAND: VR Data MODEL: VR Data Disk III (5-1/4" floppy drive) YEAR: 1984
ASKING: $100 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Unable to test, but appears brand new still in the shipping box. I *think* this is a SSSD drive, and was perhaps intended to go in the empty top bay of my Model 4?

BRAND: PG Design MODEL: 32K CMOS Expansion RAM for Model 100 YEAR: 1984
ASKING: $50 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Works great as far as I was able to test. Installed fresh batteries (included) and ran RAM Test. PDF of instructions is in the image directory.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: TRS-80 Model 100 32K (26-3801) YEAR: 1983
ASKING: $200 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: Works great and in excellent condition. Includes a hard keyboard/display cover, Tandy-branded sleeve, Tandy-branded soft carrying case, M/M and M/F RS-232C cables, a set of four legs (some clunky repairs done to 2 of them), and assorted phone (RJ11) cables. Also includes original owner's manual with many notes, highlights, and inserts (fun to go through!) Original NiCad battery still holds a charge amazingly!
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: CGP-115 4-Color Plotter (26-1192) plus box of paper YEAR: 1983
ASKING: $100 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: TRS-80 4-color plotter (color graphic printer.) Appears to work - accepts print command from Model 100, paper advances, print head moves, but no pens to test further. Just found the manual (with some extra basic programs) and added a photo! Includes data cable, power supply, full box of 3 unused rolls of paper (plus 1 roll in the printer), operation manual, and vinyl cover.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Tandy Computer Cassette Recorder CCR-82 (26-1209) YEAR: 1983
ASKING: $25 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: In good physical condition. Capstan motor works well, but the supply and take up pulleys don't turn (maybe a simple fix?) includes power supply (plus a spare) and Tandy-embossed sleeve case plus original box. (Original box and extra power supply in last photo.)
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Portable Disk Drive 2 (26-3814) YEAR: 1986
ASKING: $150 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Works great! In original box with original foam inserts (minor damage to foam) with operation manual, utility diskette, head vibration protector, power supply, and data cable, plus a soft Tandy-branded carry case.
BRAND: Travelling Software MODEL: The Ultimate ROM II YEAR: 1986
ASKING: $100 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Works great! In original box with all manuals and installation guide and original included cassette plus a floppy with sample files. Apparently this copy belonged to Peter Nero at some point.

BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: 64K Color Computer 2 with Box (26-3127B) YEAR: 1986?
ASKING: $100 PHOTOS STATUS: Available
NOTES: Works well, though it's pretty dirty. I cleaned a few keys on the lower right plus the spacebar, but this should be completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. Serial number (2018875) matches the box, and I suspect this high number puts it near the end of the run.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: 64K Color Computer 2 (26-3127B) YEAR: 1983?
ASKING: $100 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: Works well and it's pretty clean. Serial number (276158) probably puts it near the beginning of manufacture.
BRAND: Tandy / Radio Shack MODEL: Color Computer Floppy Disk Controller (version 1) YEAR: 1981
ASKING: $40 PHOTOS STATUS: SOLD
NOTES: No label, untested. Looks very clean! Possibly Tandy FD-500?
